Keijusha

An age-old papermaking traditional craft [Yatsuo Washi], known for its handiwork collection of paper made accessories. Popular for its processed pattern-dyed papers, Keijusha has developed paper with remarkable strength called “Kyoseishi,” which they use to craft products ranging from baskets to cushions, leveraging its features of being tough and durability that anyone can expect. All processes are hand-made by craftsmen, creating the warmth of nature’s texture that cannot be obtained by printing. At Keijusha, there is also a private Washi book library and café available for visit.
