Eriko Fujimaru, after graduating from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Art, Department of Design, she worked as a designer before moving to Kanazawa in 2011. While working as an artist’s assistant and a classroom instructor at a pottery studio in the city, Eriko practiced Kutani ware at Kutani Pottery Technical Training Institute of Ishikawa Prefecture and later decided to set up her own studio name “Kotohari” in 2019. Her wish is to create a number of wonderful “experiences”.
