Kutani Ceramic Laboratory
A Culture center specialized in Kutani porcelain opened in 2019, the center consists of production line of porcelain clay, i.e., Kutani’s raw material. Gallery and Studio section is open for the visitors to visit and have a chance to hands-on experience. The center offers a comprehensive introduction to Kutani porcelain, including the regular exhibit in which visitors can learn about the production processes step by step. Raw material of Hanasaka pottery stone are collected from Komatsu City. Regular exhibition of Kutani artists will be exhibited from time to time. The center also offers visitors a guided tour of the facility upon request.

Directions: 【By Airplane】17 minutes by car from Komatsu Airport. 【By Train】10 minutes by car from the east exit of JR Komatsu Station. It takes about 15 minutes by bicycle from Komatsu Station. 【By Car】Approximately 5 minutes from the Sasaki IC on National Route 8 (turn left at Wakasugi West on National Route 360 → turn left at Yoshitake East → go straight). 15 minutes from Komatsu IC on Hokuriku Expressway (turn right at Wakasugi-Nishi on Route 360→turn left at Yoshitake East→go straight).
