Miyasou Seitojo founded in 1914, have been producing figurines for over 100 years. Their current leading products include auspicious figurines such as beckoning cats and owls as well as seasonal items like zodiac and dolls for the girls’ festival. In recent years, the kiln produces various moulds such as for character goods in response to meet contemporary and modern demands. In addition, they have been engaging the collaboration with local artists in attempts to produce fine arts, utilizing hand-developed moulds made at the time of founding in Taisho and Showa era.
