Pottery Yamagishi

Founded in 1960, the workshop has been sited here since the foundation. Three generation pottery studio with Master Masaaki Yamagishi, Master Taisei, and the third-generation Aoya. The works are mainly made with tatara molding (a method of molding with plate-shaped clay) and traditional overpainting glazing techniques. Exhibited in within Japan, they have received numerous awards.
