Founded in 1888, Shinyosha-seishijo in Echizen has been working on Japanese paper trade in a Meiji-era building since establishment. The structure and the atmosphere has always remained the same since the company was founded. At the time of its founding, 50 craftsmen were enrolled, establishing a period of Echizen Washi. The “MITSUMATA BOKUSHI” (natural materia that gives a glossy high-quality paper used for fusuma, paper door, certificates and etc.) that was developed at the time had received awards at Paris World Expo. Making the best use of these Japanese crafts, they are also well known in producing Japanese business cards too.
