Taizo Glass Studio Taizo Yasuda

Iwase, Toyama City, which thrived on Kitamae-ship sea-trading, is a city still lined with historic buildings. This city is also attracting foreigners’ attention with its modern taste. Yasuda Taizo is a glass artist who set up his studio in a 100-year-old warehouse in Iwase. His studio is committed to delicate works using Venetian Techniques for Glassblowing such as lace glass and mosaic glass. He produces tableware, objects and others through focusing on the soft expression of glass, which are highly evaluated in Japan and overseas.
