This is the only place in Japan where you can still see traditional craftsman performing the old way method in a series of Japanese paper making using traditional tools and outdoor drying method. There is a traditional craftsman’s workshop and a Japanese-style room with tatami and earth flooring on the first floor and where the second floor is usually used for regular exhibitions and events related to Washi.
