Yuki Takemura, born 1980 in Nagoya, is a ceramic artist that holds regular exhibitions in Japan and overseas. Yuri expresses her work of traditional crafts by producing gentle, organic curves and uniquely surfaced shapes, using accented mediums by gold leaves and fresh colors. After graduating from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and serving as the Artist-In-Residence at Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, she continued to persue her study at Kanazawa Utasuyama Kogei Kobo. Despite her relative youth, she has received an impressive array of awards and accolades.
